Blown Out - Type Scans

These letterforms and backgrounds were scanned out of an old music magazine's record reviews section.

Inside this pack are:
2 full alphabets
Numbers 1 through 5
13 different symbols and grammar icons (12 of which have an alternate version)
14 background textures

All characters are in one .psd file on separate layers.
Each character is approximately 14mm square @ 300dpi

I usually use them like so:

1. Drag required characters on to background texture
2. Change blend mode of all characters to Lighten
3. Adjustment Layer > Exposure - increase Gamma Correction to approx. 0.75
4. Use a Block Eraser to remove any unwanted artefacts between characters
5. Adjustment layer > Levels - adjust to taste
